The paint on the deck scratched easily off spots were the epoxy was too smooth, so I ran my sander over the floor and then repainted…

Today I wired up the trailer. I want to get it licensed soon. All I need is a license plate light….I’ll hunt around for a sealed something or other.

I finally got the wiring figured out. I bought some stuff that should arrive tomorrow. I’ll outline what it all is after I can take some pictures….

Today I took up the floor in order to install the bilge pump. I ran the outlet tubing along the floor support, through the frames and out the transom. I found a nice chromed through-hull fitting – although I wasn’t thrilled with drilling a hole in the transom!

I tried out some paint on the floor board. I wanted to see how it would take to the expoy’d wood before I painted the interior.

It’s been a year since I first saw the Malahini. I had hoped to be done by now but not quite yet……
